Heroes on the hunt for sacred treasures: how Japanese mythology inspired the plot of our game.

The Kojiki and the Nihonshoki are two fundamental texts of Japanese mythology that recount the history of Japan from its creation until the Nara period (710-794 AD). Both texts were written in ancient Japanese and have been the subject of study and veneration for many centuries.

Our game story is inspired by Japanese legends and myths, particularly the Kojiki and the Nihonshoki, to create an exciting and engaging plot. The figure of Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, is particularly important, representing light and hope for the world. Himiko, on the other hand, represents wisdom and spiritual power, and is considered an important figure in ancient Japanese history.

Our game's perspective sees Amaterasu and Himiko as the evil that holds Japan captive and stands in the way of our protagonists, Kensei and Ayame. The key to everything lies in the sacred treasures, objects of great power that can be used to defeat the power of the two deities.

The presence of the sacred treasures in our game's plot is essential and is linked to the treasures described in Japanese myths such as the mirror, sword, and jade. Additionally, the presence of yokai, Japanese supernatural creatures, further enriches the setting and plot of the game.
